Through its subsidiary Rathdowney Polska, Rathdowney Resources Ltd. has recently acquired exploration licenses in the prolific Upper Silesian Mining District of Poland, an area where zinc and lead have been produced since the 12th century. The properties have been explored in the past by Polish State surveys and are known to host zinc-lead deposits.
Rathdowney's wholly owned subsidiary Mayfly Resources Limited has assembled a substantial land position, encompassing an area of 1,600 square km in Ireland. The company has conducted extensive early stage exploration, successfully identifying a number of drill-ready zinc-lead targets.
Teams of technical and community engagement professionals have been assembled in Poland and Ireland. These local teams are supported by corporate management, a technical advisory board with global experience and the project management, finance, environmental science and community development specialists from Hunter Dickinson, to assist them with project planning and implementation.
Through its interests in mineral-rich areas, Rathdowney has the potential to become a significant zinc producer in Europe.
